Skyrim se optimus video card fix

First, I want to apologize for this post’s title. I had initially titled it “SOLVED: Skyrim Graphics Problem.” This was because I was frustrated with being unable to solve the problem myself, so it was an excellent title to announce my success. However, after reading through some of the responses from other people, it appears that you are reporting problems that were solved by erroring out of Skyrim’s Launcher with “skse_loader” and then using the new Launcher, which injects itself into skse_loader. For example http://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/28wx5y/im_getting_this_error_when_loading_my_savegame/

If you are having issues with your graphics in Skyrim, here is what you should do:

Step 1: Quit Skyrim (don’t worry about any saves)

Step 2: Delete ALL folders and files relating to Skyrim from inside your Documents folder (Windows XP) or Library folder (Windows 7). This includes your profile folder, game files, etc. NOTE: This should be done BEFORE trying anything else!

Step 3: Re-create your documents and library folders precisely as they were before running Skyrim. If you don’t know how to do this, follow, but go through each step carefully until you have a perfect copy of everything back in place!

Step 4a: Start Skyrim again through steam and use the new Launcher (if one exists). You will get an error at startup asking if you would like SKSE loaded first or mods first – select SKSE first if it isn’t already selected by default.

Step 4b in Windows 7 – Run Mod Organizer 2, click on the Mods tab, right-click on LOOT, and select Add Mod. When prompted for “Which file

Check your Video Card

Update your video card drivers.

To update your video card drivers, follow these steps:

Try a newer video card.

If you’re using a video card that’s not the latest, it might be time to upgrade. There are several reasons why upgrading your card could improve performance in Skyrim SE:

Check the settings in Skyrim’s Launcher to see if there’s a better resolution or refresh rate for your monitor/TV/Projector.

If you’re having trouble with your video card, check the settings in Skyrim’s Launcher to see if there’s a better resolution or refresh rate for your monitor/TV/Projector. For example, if you have an NVidia GeForce GTX 760M and have played Skyrim at 1920×1080 on High Quality but now want to play it at 2560×1440 on Ultra High Quality, try lowering the resolution from 1920×1080 to 1280×720. Playing at higher resolutions should give you better performance and image quality.

If this doesn’t help and neither does any other solution listed here:

It is possible to have problems with Skyrim’s performance, but at least you can help fix them.

Skyrim is a great game, but finding the best settings for your PC can be challenging. This guide will show you how to get the best performance out of Skyrim on your PC.

Skyrim for PC supports 32-bit and 64-bit systems, so there’s no need to worry about which version is best for your system. If you need help determining what version of the game you have, check out this website: [https://www.lariangamescom/en/games](https://www.lariangamescom/en/games).

Section: [General] Changes in Skyrim’s launcher settings can improve your framerate.

Takeaway: You can make changes using the launcher settings to boost your performance and change things like resolution and other graphical options. I remember playing Fallout 3 at a high resolution (1600×900) with a 120hz monitor, the gameplay was great, but sometimes my framerate would drop to about 15-20 fps for no apparent reason. Then I looked at the settings in fallout3’s Launcher and changed it so that it would use my custom resolution (1600×900) and the high frame rate setting (120hz on my monitor). That fixed the problem! If you need to change your resolution or refresh rate, search for lessons on that subject!

Section: Video Memory: Do not increase past 2GB unless you have an insane amount of ram!

There are various mods with varying priorities regarding video memory usage; Some mods give Skyrim more memory than it needs, while others will tell you not to use more than 2GB of total video memory by default. The catch here is that some might not tell you everything they’re doing or what they mean by “video memory.” A lot of them are based on Nvidia’s old reputation with card designs and trying to hide their cards’ shortcomings from buyers by unnecessarily lowering their video memory allocation from 4GB down
