A Dell Inspiron m6700 laptop will not recognize the TV input.
The TV is turned on but not connected to the laptop.
Ensure that the TV is turned on.
Look in the Video Devices section of Device Manager.
Double-click on the card in Device Manager.
You can double-click on the card in Device Manager. The card will be highlighted, and you can click on the Properties button. The Driver tab should be highlighted if you have an updated driver available for your video card installed. Click on Update Driver and then select Search automatically for updated driver software from a list of options presented by the Dell Support Agent (DA).
Ensure “NVIDIA nForce motherboard display and video” is enabled.
To ensure that the video card is recognized, double-click on the card in Device Manager. If it does not appear under Other Devices, select Install or Update Driver Software for Video Cards and Displays from Control Panel>Hardware and Sound >Device Manager. Once installed, reboot your computer to see if any changes are made to your hardware display settings or performance.
Reboot to see the change take effect.
To make sure that the change takes effect, reboot your computer.
